Have you ever wanted to sail down wind from one beach to another? Go on a windsurfing adventure? Not wanted to sail back upwind from a down wind adventure? Well, this is the event for you!!! The WD40 Downwind Classic is ALL of these things and a great deal more. Sailing great distances in the open ocean with the wind at your back is one of the many pleasures that windsurfers enjoy. In this event you will have the opportunity to sail the eight miles from Kalmus Beach in Hyannis to West Dennis Beach in West Dennis. In addition, you have the choice of racing against others or just cruising for the fun of it. Whatever your speed, this event will fit your style.

Your safety is our concern as well. As such, we are providing assistance on the water and off to insure your safe passage. On the water, we will have a team of jet skis and chase boats that will follow your progress and offer assistance if needed. Also, we will be providing transportation to the "start beach" from the "finish beach" for those who don't have anyone to drive their cars to the finish beach during the event.

All of this, plus t-shirt's, refreshments, prizes, and awards, will make for an event not to be missed. Plus, following this event, we will be throwing the Fiberspar Fiesta, with food, friends, and fun!
