The Cape Cod Windsurfing Association (CCWA) was formed in 1996 in an effort to rejuvenate windsurfing and put on some organized events on Cape Cod. In addition, we wanted to create a community of long lasting friendships with people with a common interest and goal.
Through various events that will be planned throughout the year, we will provide an environment of fun, learning, and community. We offer racing, freestyle, clinics, trips, and a host of social gatherings. Racing is a great way for people to get together, learn how to windsurf better and make new friends. You do not need to be an expert sailor to benefit or enjoy racing. Many of the top sailors in the association enjoy bestowing their knowledge and experience. It is this bond of camaraderie that is the basis of this association. In addition the clinics we offer will help you develope the skills necessary to become a great windsurfer and truly enjoy your sessions whether it is blowing 10kts or 40kts. These clinics are NOT just for beginners but advanced sailors will benefit greatly from them as well.
